To wrap up the year, I wanted to share some of the best products I found myself wearing and using the most in 2020. This year was a weird one and while looking back, there were things I relied on for comfort the most. And this list reflects it perfectly. A unique year like this one has many of us looking in our immediate surroundings on how to improve them to get through it all. And for me, it was a lot of comforting swaps to make days more bearable.
There were plenty that didn’t make this list like finally downloading Audible and Goodreads to get me reading and listening to more books. Or the yeast I finally scored at the grocery store and made my first ever batch of cinnamon rolls. And all the leggings and sweatsuits I wore that became my uniform. But these are my top products from 2020 that I am so glad I purchased.
My Top Products From 2020
Skims Bra
My most worn bra in 2020 thanks to its comfort and support. I loved it so much I ended up writing an entire blog post on my favorite lazy bras and this one was of course, number one.
Barefoot Dreams Socks
Although I’ve owned these for years, I didn’t realize until this year what brand they were. Or how superior they were to every other cozy sock in my life. Picking up more of these for lounging at home.
Gold Huggies
I usually am always in a gold hoop earring of some sort pre-pandemic. But I started to feel not as put together without an earring in every single day. I tried putting in my favorite diamond earrings, but I hated sleeping in them. I kept taking them out, and never remember to put them back in. Insert huggies that you can sleep in thanks to their unique style. This means you can always have your earrings in! I picked up a 3-pack set on a whim and haven’t taken them out since.
J.Crew Chelsea Rainboots
Replacing my Hunter boots for rainy walks was the best thing I did this year. I’ve been meaning to do it FOREVER and finally picked up these awesome $50 Chelsea rainboots that I would even wear out and about.
Casaluna Bath Towels
Upgrading my towels (which ironically were less expensive than my previous ones) was a highlight of 2020. What is it about a good fluffy towel that just makes getting out of a shower so much more enjoyable? I discovered the Casaluna collection from Target this year thanks to a fun project I did with them. I’m now a die hard Casaluna fan and have their shower curtain, bath mat and candles. It’s seriously SO good and one of my best discoveries of 2020.
Birkenstock Arizona EVA Sandals
The best sandal I could have bought for summer. They’re light, comfortable and perfect for throwing on to walk the dog, run to the store or head to the pool. I went with black but kind of wish I also bought a more summery color for wearing out more. But thanks to COVID, there wasn’t a lot of that going on. Might get a new fun color in 2021 for summer.
Reduce Tumbler
I’ve been trying to drink more water and I realized if and only if I fill up my Reduce tumbler do I actually drink water all throughout the day. I have several other tumblers and large glasses, but this for some reason gets me drinking.
Gray Malin Puzzle
I picked this up on a whim during a Waiting on Martha Black Friday sale and it is honestly the best. It was so hard but it consumed me for hours across many days. It was exactly what I needed to get away from a computer and my phone.
Hatch Sound Machine
Another product I loved so much I did an entire blog post on it (read it here). I was struggling with sleep thanks to Pork’s snoring and this totally transformed my sleep. I am so thankful for this miracle product!
