I did a roundup in 2020 of my favorite products and purchases and it was one of my MOST read posts. I was blown away. So it’s officially going to be a yearly post here at An Indigo Day. I’ve been working on this list for months now and slowly adding things on here that I find myself loving. Some purchases are just superior to others, and this is my ultimate list of my best products and purchases from 2021. And with Christmas around the corner, I can guarantee that any of these would make a fantastic gift.
My Top Products From 2021
FoodSaver Vacuum Sealer
I tried buying a cheap version of this and was so disappointed. I instead swapped it for the real deal and what a difference. This has been a game-changer for me and meal prep and not wasting food. It was definitely worth the $100. My one tip, if you’re sealing up anything that has any moisture on it, pop it in the bag and into the freezer for an hour, and then seal it. Trust me.
Podswap AirPods
My AirPods are the original generation and many many years old. I was officially at the point that the right AirPod was at 10% within 30 minutes. This made working out with my headphones so annoying. And forget even traveling with them. I finally tried Podswap which just swaps your old AirPods out with refurbished ones for a fraction of the cost for new ones. Perfectly working AirPods. Best thing I ever did.
Vitamix
My mom gifted me this a few months ago and while I haven’t used it a ton, it’s still incredible. I’ll have it for years and it seriously does such a good job of blending. And it’s easy as can be to clean. Just pop in soap and water and blend it up. I’ll be making frozen margaritas in it this summer!
Cold Brew Coffee Maker
I was influenced to buy this from my friend Meghan at Wit & Whimsy. I love cold brew, but making it at home can be a big mess. This is a no-fuss way to do it and makes it so easy. It’s affordable, easy to clean and you’ve got cold brew coffee all week long.
Frame TV
While I bought one of these last year for my bedroom, I don’t think I realized how BAD my TV experience was until I replaced my living room TV. Holy cow. What a difference. I was working with a 12 year old TV so this was a major upgrade. Love that it looks like art when it’s not in use. Read my full review of the tv here.
Saie Sun Melt Bronzer + Big Brush
I simply can not sing enough praises for this product and the brush. It’s my favorite way to apply bronzer to my face now no matter if I’m doing a full glam face or just a little concealer and bronzer for some color. Seriously the BEST. I also really like the dew blush as well.
Modsy Design Service
I’ve been unsure how to finish decorating my space for years now. I have a ton of different wood finishes and just always feel overwhelmed. I used Modsy to help me figure out what I needed to do to complete my home and it was such an incredible experience. It was only $159 to get a mock-up of my home with options on how to decorate it. I’m just now finishing up finding some similar pieces to swap out for it to be complete.
No Show Socks
Finding the perfect no-show sock can be hard. And I finally found the best ones that actually stay on. These come in a pack of 6 and in a few color options. They’ve been game changer for wearing with my sneakers.
Isabel Marant Lecce Belt
This was definitely a splurge, but one I do not regret one bit. I wear this belt quite a bit and love how chic it looks. It instantly pulls looks together in such a beautiful way. There’s also a good dupe at LOFT. You can check out my Reel on how to knot it here.
Kate The Concierge Upcycle
I found myself going through my jewelry box this year and wondering why I was holding on to ex-boyfriend’s jewelry. Selling it would mean I get very little. I ended up re-connecting with Kate who is a diamond concierge. She offers a new program where you can upcycle old jewelry into new pieces. The process was so cool and I absolutely LOVE how my pieces turned out. You can wave the $97 consult fee with code JESSICA97. See my before and after here.
Natori Underwear
This was the year I upgraded all of my underwear. I’m a full butt cotton underwear kind of gal. And my Aerie underwear were jus not cutting it anymore. They changed something on them and the quality tanked. During the Nordstrom Sale I tried these Natori ones recommended by @sharonsaysso and I haven’t looked back.
