You ever go shopping and find something and think, that looks like so and so? Well this top when I saw it I said, this top looks like Lauren. It’s 100% something she’d grab. I do love it though, I mean, how could you go wrong with anything striped and blue? Add in ruffles and you’ve got yourself a solid piece.
With the 4th of July just around the corner, I’ve been trying to figure out what on earth I’ll wear. There’s a big 10K race here in Atlanta every year that ends near Piedmont Park. My friends and I may head down to a patio down there to watch the morons run by (sorry I just don’t get the whole running thing, especially in JULY in ATLANTA on a HOLIDAY). So we’ll cheer them on since I’m sure they’ll need the encouragement. While I brainstorm ideas, this top and also these fun red mules come to mind. But let’s be honest, it’s going to be HOT AF. So I may actually wear this new dress I got (it’s kinda red….) or this striped one from Paris I wore last month. I usually do something boring like shorts and a tee and call it a day. But maybe this year I’ll pull it together, you know since I’m a blogger and all?? Yeah, sounds good.
PS If you’re looking for good denim shorts that don’t break the bank, I’ve fallen in LOVE with these BLANK NYC ones. I have a few styles and they all fit great. I have a hard time fitting my fat ass into shorts usually thanks to butt and thighs (hey girl, hey) and these are amazing.
