90s Grunge And A Love Letter

I’ve been on the hunt for black cut out booties with gold details ever since The Fashion Lush wore them and then I did this post. Do you realize how long ago that was? A really fucking long time ago. It’s taken me this long to find the perfect boot. And these in particular required not one but two trips to Chicago to finally purchase. I saw them in the Aldo window but the store was closed. Never found them again until I went back to Chicago a few weeks ago for work and scooped these bad boys up.  

Chicago seems to be the death of my wallet whenever I go. I’m obsessed with everything Chicago has from their restaurants, to their shopping, the piers, the perfect weather. Oh right, I haven’t been during the winter time, but you know what, let’s just pretend it doesn’t happen k? Let me have my Chicago crush and deal with it. This dress was also a Chicago find. It’s so 90’s grunge chic and reminds me of my 1990 something private school days.  I actually think I have this same dress with pleats from the 90s actually… P
