You all know I love me a good graphic tee. A concert tee, a band shirt, anything. I love it. As someone who lives in a good cotton t-shirt, having a few that have a fun print or graphic on it helps to make it feel less boring. Plus, it’s a fun way to give a nod to my old favorite bands and artists. I have to be honest though. Sure I have this Led Zeppelin tee and although I do know who they are and know a song or two, they’re not really my favorite band. But I do love that concert tee. It is so soft. But it had me wanting to represent my favorite artists and bands. Like the likes of Britney Spears, Backstreet Boys, Tupac and Biggie. But I had a hard time finding them.
Abercrombie’s Best Graphic Tees
Alas, when Abercrombie & Fitch came out with their own concert tees, I was SO excited to see my favorite 80s, 90s and early 00s artists featured. FINALLY! I can represent my true love for pop music, old-school rap and everything in between. From RUN DMC, to Britney Spears, Whitney Houston and Aerosmith, it was hard to choose. And of course, they do have a few old favorites that I grew up listening to thanks to my parents like the Beatles and Queen.
I couldn’t resist picking up the Britney Spears tee, #FREEBRITNEY all the way, and Run D-M-C. I’m also tempted to grab a few more. I mean, Whitney Houston? Come on. The thing about these t-shirts though is that they are hands down the softest tees in my closet. Period. I live in them. I get so excited when I wear one for the day because it means I’m going to sleep in it and it’s going to be BEYOND soft.
Did I mention, they’re almost all on sale?!
In addition to these concert tees that I LOVE, A&F also has a few other graphic tees from pretty flat lays printed on a white tee, to cityscapes and more. I have a few of theirs from years past and love them. They’re what I pair with denim to make it feel a little more interesting than my go-to white tees. And for fall and winter, they layer perfectly under leather and utility jackets for a little something extra.
Abercrombie & Fitch Graphic Tee Sizing Guide
PS if you haven’t shopped at Abercrombie & Fitch since high school, don’t you worry. I have a sizing guide you can check out here. This is so not your 1997 Abercrombie & Fitch. And you can thank me later. However, this particular graphic tee collection is a bit all over the place. This RUN DMC tee is a size small and as you can see is super oversized. However, I have a medium in the Britney Spears tee which you can see here is much more fitted.
I wish I had better advice on sizing, but what I’ve done is buy a small and medium in each and returned the ones I didn’t want. This is not the case in the rest of A&F when it comes to sizing. Something is up with the graphic tees and I can’t figure them out. Some are just super oversized (RUN DMC, Selena and Whitney all seem to be oversized) and the rest appear to be more in line with A&F usual sizing.
Styling A Graphic Tee For Summer
When styling a graphic tee for summer I love to tuck them into my favorite jean shorts. Whether they’re classic mom jean shorts or these LOFT black denim cut-offs. Which by the way are SO good. Paired with a cool sneaker such as my platform Converse, or these Madewell Trainers, it adds a cool-girl vibe to the summer look. I wouldn’t usually pair this with something feminine like an espadrille or gladiator sandal. I would maybe swap a sneaker for a simple slide, but I find myself reaching for my Converse anytime I’m wearing a graphic tee in the summer. For cooler nights, you can totally layer a utility jacket, denim jacket, or a long light cardigan. For fall, I’ll rotate in booties or heels as I did here.
