It wasn’t until last year that I really fell in love with a one-piece swimsuit. They truly have made a serious come-back and are sexier than ever. And just more flattering sometimes! Plus, they serve as double duty when it comes to your wardrobe. I love to pack my one-piece swimsuits for warm-weather getaways as they serve a dual purpose as a swimsuit and bodysuit when you aren’t poolside. It’s one of my favorite packing tricks!
Now that I’ve fallen in love with one piece swimsuits, I’m finding myself grabbing new ones every so often. I recently fell in love with this Solid & Striped swimsuit. The retro vibe of polka dots with the wide belt paired with a scoop back was a perfect combo. It’s my first Solid & Striped suit and I love it! I went with a medium in this swimsuit and think it just fit better for my longer torso. I also very much appreciated the adjustable straps. Their suits are incredible quality and always in such flattering silhouettes.
Since one pieces are 100% on my radar from now on, I wanted to share some of my favorites with you. My number one tip for one-piece swimsuits is to find ones that are higher cut on the leg so you look tall and lean. A few of my favorite brands include Aerie, Madewell and Solid & Striped. And if you have a longer torso, I have you covered! I can sometimes get away with a regular fit as I don’t have a SUPER long torso. But have found the Aerie ones in long are ideal.
