I’m so excited to be sharing some of my favorite spots this week from my trip to Asheville. Like I mentioned in yesterday’s post about Denver, my little (well I suppose now it’s quite long) travel bucket list has grown. However, a few cities have been on it for years. Asheville was alongside Denver for quite some time. As a result, I was super excited when I finally planned a little 48 hour trip.
As soon as Lauren and I checked into the AC Hotel we grabbed a quick bite at Ginger Cafe and changed before we headed to Trade and Lore for coffee. It was absolutely freezing when we arrived so I put on this amazing cozy Anthropologie cardigan. The cardigan had some navy going through it so I added this long sleeve lace up top that I haven’t worn in ages.
A Must Visit Coffee Shop In Downtown Asheville
We had a three hour drive so we were in need of a little caffeine pick me up. I’m usually a soy latte kind of girl, but saw Trade and Lore had matcha lattes on the menu. I can’t remember the last time I had one so it was a no brainer to order one. Lauren got a standard latte, and then our photographer who we met up with grabbed a hot chocolate. It was a trifecta of coffee cups and pretty latte art.
This coffee shop was on the cutest street just a few blocks from our hotel. There were several shops, restaurants and a breakfast spot, Early Girl Eatery where we went one morning. You could definitely spend a few hours roaming this street, sitting in a coffee shop and grabbing a bite to eat at a local restaurant. It was such a charming spot to explore in downtown Asheville.
