It seems to take me forever to get through beauty products sometimes. I always wonder how people have so many beauty empties to share. When it comes to my beauty routine in terms of body and skincare, that’s probably the one thing I do go through quite quickly.
I’m very regimented in my body lotion and skincare. So it’s no surprise that’s what’s comprising of my latest beauty empties. Plus, a few new to me products that I truly loved! Here’s what I went through recently and would 100% purchase again.
Beauty Empties 2021
essie Gel Nail Polish Top Coat
As someone who paints their nails weekly, I also go through quite a bit of nail polish. But it’s the topcoat I swear by that makes all the difference. This essie Gel Top Coat is hands down my favorite. I always have at least 2 bottles on hand. I’ve tried easily a dozen different top coats over the years, but this one keeps my polish looking great for significantly longer than the others.
OSEA Body Lotion
OSEA is a new to me brand that’s based out of Malibu. Their products are clean and the company aims to be sustainable, vegan and cruelty free. They also have the Leaping Bunny Certified badge of honor. This lotion is fragrance free and a little somehow goes a really long way.
It took me a while to get through it and I moisturize my entire body every single day. Really loved how this felt and kept my skin pretty hydrated. Wouldn’t say it was the BEST hydrating lotion I’ve had, but it was good!
Necessaire Body Wash In Bergamont
I’ve been pretty honest about Necessaire. It’s good, it has gorgeous branding and packaging, and the scents really are amazing. I do not think it’s worth the price unless you’re looking for a splurge, or gifting someone something as I think elevated body care is the ideal gift.
It’s one of those things you’ll never spend money on yourself, so it’s always nice to get. I loved the body wash though for how amazing it smelt. I also really enjoy their body lotion and body serum. Again, I think their hydrating factor is not amazing, but it’s good.
NARS Creamy Concealer
Not pictured, but my NARS creamy concealer in custard is officially finished. I plow through this. It’s great just on its own for my under eyes, or for a full face of makeup. It doesn’t crease, it stays put, I love it so much.
I’ve been using this concealer for as long as I can remember. Recently I tried a few other brands like Hourglass, Beautycounter and Fenty, and none compare. For my full face of makeup, I do use Tarte Shape Tape, but really, NARS can do no wrong.
Cosmedix Peptide Rich Defense Moisturizer
My tried and true everyday moisturizer. I use this every single day. Love that it has SPF 50. This is the product that got me obsessed with Cosmedix and totally transformed my skincare routine.
Everyone should be wearing SPF every single day no matter what. And I think this is a fantastic everyday moisturizer that keeps you protected from the sun. PS the 8 skincare products everyone should have in their routine.
Follain Firming Serum + Vitamin C Serum
Both of these serums have been on repeat for me lately. The Vitamin C serum saved my skin in Arizona from sunburn and is now part of my SPF routine no matter what.
But I also do love the firming serum. This brand is at a great price point too. Clean and effective, I know that’s something many of you are always interested in! Learn more about Vitamin C here.
