Etsy is a website I tend to really get overwhelmed by. There are so many options and it’s just…a lot. But when you have something specific in mind, you can very easily go down a rabbit hole of products. And that’s exactly what happened to me when I tried to shop for some new candlesticks. It’s still an immense amount of product to sift through, but I found myself in a groove the other day.
I had bought some new candlesticks from H&M that I was so in love with. They’re these cool almost organic-looking black candlestick holders, so good. They definitely needed something more exciting than just a classic tapered candle. S
o off to Etsy I went to try to find something different. And my gosh I found so many good ones. So much so that I need more candlesticks to house all the ones I’m eyeing. I really love using candles to decorate. The height is perfect for adding interest and depth to shelves, bookcases and tabletops. Layer them behind shorter things to create interest. And they’re great for adding in to tablescapes.
From colorful candles to textured ones, and even cool sculptural options, there are so many to choose from. Make a statement, or go more simple, I’m rounding up all the ones I’m eyeing.
Best Candles From Etsy
Unique Tapered Candles
Tapered candles are kind of a necessity if you’re buying candlesticks and whatnot. But instead of going classic tapered in a regular ‘ol color, there are tons of options and styles on Etsy.
From bubble candles, to twists and swirls, ombre colors, marbled and even ones with flowers throughout. There are so many textures and colors to choose from that there is truly something for everyone.
Stand Alone Candles
If you don’t want to deal with picking out a candlestick in addition to candles, just go for one of these cool statement stand-alone candles. Just plop them on a nice little plate or tray for safety purposes of course, and enjoy their sculptural look!
Don’t Forget Candlesticks
If you’re going for some cool tapered candles, you can’t forget about grabbing a few fun candlesticks to go with them. There are so many to choose from like stone, marble, glass and more. Below are some of my favorites that I’m eyeing.
Shop Candle Accessories
If you like to burn candles, you need a few essential accessories. A candle snuffer is key to putting out candles without making a total mess. And a wick trimmer is key to get the most burn time out of your candles.
Plus, keeping your candles covered and free of dust is just the safe thing to do. Invest in what’s called a cloche, which is just a fancy word for a glass dome basically, to keep them dust-free. Plus, it makes the candles stand out even more making them more a part of your decor if you ask me. The look is just really pretty!
