It may be hot and humid in the south but there’s one thing I’ve been enjoying more and more lately. And that’s sitting outside regardless of the temperature. I must be getting used to this heat because spending summer evenings on my patio has become my favorite thing to do. Indulging in a little summer afternoon sunshine, I’ve got a few essentials to make it not only picture perfect but relaxing and enjoyable. The weather is perfect for unwinding after a busy week with friends, or solo with a good book or magazine.
Three things are all you need to enjoy a hot summer afternoon the right way. First and foremost, a good snack, I prefer watermelon. What is it about this damn fruit that is so refreshing and instantly cools you off? It’s summer perfection and honestly not that awful for you. So you can enjoy somewhat guilt free. Second, these adorable AVA Grace cans of wine. Could they BE any prettier? So much easier to bring somewhere than a glass of wine, too. I’m loving these pretty cans. They’d also be beautiful at a brunch with friends. I’m partial to the rosé but both cans are super pretty. And lastly, a good book or magazine. You may remember that I’m back into magazines, so I’ve been using any excuse to pack them up each month and enjoy them somewhere for a little self-care time.
A few other fun ways to incorporate these printed AVA Grace cans are to bring them along to a picnic, share them with friends at the next outdoor concert or stack them up for a Sunday brunch at home with girlfriends. All three things I need to do more of these days!
