If you’re not familiar with the brand Sisley, then today’s the day I’m going to school you. Sisley has become a beauty brand I’m just so in love with. I went to a Fashion Week event last fall with Kristin and Cathy at their SoHo store and fell hard and fast for the brand. This French beauty brand is full of luxurious products that work, stay on and smell (yes smell) great). Their foundation smells heavenly! The lipsticks were the first thing I truly fell for. I was having a hard time keeping lipstick on my face (or my lips, it was in fact ALL over my face) in the humidity. And once I tried their lipsticks I was hooked. They lasted so long without budging. A lot of my photos that I’m wearing a red lipstick is usually my Sisley in Poppy.
So when these cheek sticks arrived I couldn’t wait to swipe them on my cheeks to see how they looked. I do love a product that has a quick and easy application. Plus, cream blushes and highlighters are always nice for when you just want to throw something on and go on top of your moisturizer and call it a day.
Applying these are super easy too. For the blush ones, just add a few dots along the apples of your cheeks and gently rub in. I like to also work the product up my cheek as you would apply your blush. You can even use a BeautyBlender if you like, but your fingers work great here too. Then I add the highlighter one to the top of my cheeks and blend. The great thing about these being in a cream formula is that you can even apply them to your lids for a little color or your lips. It’s a great product to add to your travel makeup bag if you ask me.
