Best Donut Spots In Atlanta
Sublime
You’ve seen this one on Food Network several times and for good reason. The original location is on the westside of town, this spot is home to the original cool donut shop of Atlanta.
The A Town donut is their most popular and my personal favorite is the orange dream star. It’s a creamsicle donut you guys. It’s ridiculous.
They’re also now open 24 hours which is pretty much the greatest news I’ve heard all year.
Five Daughter’s Bakery
One of my favorites in Atlanta with lots of great options. They have a croissant dough style donut that is flaky and delightful. This Tennessee-based donut shop also serves up paleo friendly donuts that are grain, dairy and sugars.
Revolution Donuts
You may remember my cronut experience a few years ago on the blog which was kind of life changing. Revolution is home to the only legit cronut in Atlanta if you ask me. Revolution has the most dough varieties than any other spot I’ve found. Yeast based, cake style and baked cake. Yes there are that many donut dough options and it’s totally worth trying one of each.
I vote for shredded coconut and if they have it, fruity pebbles, yes fruity freaking pebbles.
Hell Yeah Gluten Free
When we think of gluten free we think things won’t be as great as the original. But Hell YEah Gluten Free refuses to live by that mentality. Their gluten free pastries and baked goods are always incredible. And they are always dairy free too.
Hell Yeah, Gluten Free’s flagship in Inman Park is always popping. And they are now expanding to Decatur and Adair Park.
Duck Donuts
Duck Donuts has lots of incredible combinations from adding bacon to sprinkles, coconut and more. These are made to order so you can customize your toppings however you like.
This donut chain is originally born form The Outerbanks and has made their way to Atlanta.
Hero Donuts
Located in the hopping neighborhood of Summerhill, Hero Donuts doesnt’ disaapoint. Their dough is unique in that they use a brioche style dough that takes two days to make. This donut shop also serves up delicious food like burgers and kolaches. They know a thing or two about dough and buns over here.
