Every kitchen has a fruit bowl. A basket, a bowl, something to house all their bananas, tomatoes, apples, lemons and limes. Usually set up on the kitchen counter to easily grab while cooking or for an afternoon snack. In my house, I have a long shallow, and narrow wooden tray.
Although I like it, it looks great against my white marble countertops, I’ve officially outgrown it. As in, my fruit is overflowing, and it’s impossible to stack anything since it’s so narrow.
Best Fruit Bowls And Baskets For Your Kitchen
With all the cooking I’ve been doing at home these days, I’ve been buying a lot more produce to have on hand. Specifically lemons and limes. The other day I put all my things in my little wooden tray and everything was falling out of it. It was officially time to replace my fruit “tray” and get a real deal fruit bowl.
So I’ve now been on the hunt to find the best fruit bowls and baskets for my kitchen counter. I’ve scoured the internet, and honestly, it’s slim pickings! I feel like there are very few styles and vibes to try. But these are my favorite fruit bowls and baskets that I’ve found from my favorite shops.

The Best Fruit Bowls
Turns out there are tons of fruit bowls, but I hate most of them. I’m also 100% against a banana stand. I also JUST learned that the whole point of a banana stand is so that they don’t bruise and it helps to ripen them more evenly.
Who knew? Please tell me I’m not the only one who never knew that. I decided to ask the Inidogers in the Facebook group what they use and included a few favorites in today’s roundup!
I am looking for something that can be a good contrast to my white marble so it’s definitely an option! But the one I’m REALLY loving is that first pedestal one from Terrain. Sure it’s expensive, but man, it’s the perfect wooden fruit bowl! But I think the color would be perfect against the marble and it’s just OH so pretty.
