A few weeks ago I shared some of my absolute favorite coffee shops in Atlanta. It was while sitting at today’s featured coffee shop that I came up with said post. So I thought I’d honor it since it’s become my favorite spot to go to get away from my usual desk and work from home routine. I sadly fell in love with this spot though right when our main highway fell down and went boom. So getting there became a royal pain in the ass. Now that our highway has been put together again (kinda like Humpty Dumpty…) I’m excited to spend a lot more time here.
Chrome Yellow Trading Co. was suggested to me by my good friend Daniel. He’s always had his finger on the pulse for cool things in Atlanta so when he told me about it I knew I had to check it out as soon as possible. It’s part coffee shop part dry goods store filled with all things Atlanta. I’m honestly not a huge “coffee” person as in I drink Dunkin Donuts daily at home, and really can’t tell the difference between most coffee brands. But this spot changed that all. When I ordered my first cup of coffee from them I texted Lauren (who loves coffee) and said, okay now I get it. Good coffee is GOOD coffee.
So since today is Friday, but it feels like only Wednesday to me and I have SO much work to do, I’ll be drinking lots of coffee this weekend. May even head to Chrome Yellow to get out of the house and work outside a bit in the fresh air.
