It’s no secret I love New York. I was born here, my entire family on either side are born and raised in New York. It’s just something that’s been a part of my life, always.
From the food, the culture, the attitude, I was raised in a very New York home. Even though I didn’t live here very long, I moved away at the age of 3, we came back often. Visiting family, coming for holidays, and making sure we ate our way through all the things. Pizza, bagels, Italian cookies. It’s simply a way of life.
And as a graphic tee and sweatshirt fan, it’s no surprise I am always gravitating towards any and all that says NEW YORK on it. And with a growing collection, I had to share some of my favorites.
My Favorite New York Graphic Sweatshirts and Tees
I love to wear graphic tees and sweatshirts with truly anything in my closet. Wear with leggings and sneakers for a casual look. Or even style with trousers and a striped sweater over the shoulders like I did today. I’ve even styled my favorite sweatshirts with faux leather pants, cute minis and more.
As someone who dresses casually, but likes to have some elevated elements, this is a great base to have. I love a good tee or sweatshirt, so here are a few of my favorites.
New York Sweatshirts
I usually find most of my New York sweatshirts at H&M. They always seem to have at least one every season. The one featured today is old from H&M.
And my latest all-black one that says NEW YORK CITY on it is an in-store find but now sold out. Below are some of my favorites from Anine Bing to Good American and H&M.
New York Graphic T-Shirts
A graphic tee is another favorite item in my closet so I always love when I can find a NYC version. I find that Abercrombie is the best spot to find these things that are good quality and not overly expensive.
New York Sports Teams
New York is also home to so many great sport teams. Growing up, we were a Giants household. Every Sunday we watched the G-Men play. From the Yankees, to the Jets, and more, here are some great options to rock on game day.
Official fan gear can get very expensive, but my go-to is to shop from Abercrombie & Fitch for that. They have great t-shirts and sweatshirts to choose from. I have several and live in them at home. The A&F tees and sweatshirts are so comfortable and I like to grab the men’s ones in a size medium for an oversized fit.
