Dolce & Gabbana Lipstick in Dolce Rosa & Nailpolish in Bonbon
I’m so NOT a light pink person, yet I did paint my living room wall blush pink and also purchased a gorgeous pink chair from West Elm that I sadly had to return (if you follow along on Twitter, you’ll see that it was really violet!) I don’t recognize myself right now, but maybe pink is now my thing?
I recently received both of these pretty pink Dolce & Gabbana beauty products and have been rocking the shit out of them. Their lipstick has been a line I covet for a few years now. It stays on for many hours, wears nicely without looking crazy and the colors are just beautiful. I’m a HUGE fan of Dolce Fire and have worn it in just about every blog post outfit you’ve seen here. I mean here’s an example, and here, and well, here again. I basically have at least three of them (matte and creme) and they’re tucked away in a few of my purses. The Dolce Rose lipstick though is a nice departure from my usual bright red and is the perfect color to transition my beauty routine into spring.
As for the nails though, this is a color my sister wears all the time. She’s a big fan of nudes and pale pinks. As for me on the other hand, I prefer black, white or deep red. I rarely rock a pink, and if I do it’s HOT pink and only for a tropical vacation maybe (because I go on so many of those…). But this hue, called Bonbon, is perfect for everyday or for night time with a head to toe black ensemble.
