I’m feeling back to my old self wearing jeans and a leather jacket, let me tell ya! This was my staple last fall (as seen here and here) and it really is my go to outfit. It’s easy to dress up or down and this is a perfect middle of the road. It’s kind of casual, yet kind of a dressy look too.
While in a complete fashion rut a few weeks ago, I headed in to Madewell to refresh my closet a bit before all my trips from this month. I had actually bought a TON of stuff online from every store imaginable. However, I ended up returning basically all of it. I decided to just shop the old fashioned way and Madewell turned out to be my best bet. I’m beginning to think I’ve found “my store” and realize how much of their pieces have ended up in my closet even over the summer like this gingham dress and classic jacket.
I also recently wore this top at NYFW (see the look here). I picked up so many new things that will be versatile to wear throughout the seasons from tops, dresses and even these cool jogger pants. It’s great that it can be easily layered with a jacket for cooler weather, and also worn in the summertime with shorts and wedges. It’s definitely going to be a staple in the closet!
