Can I just fill you in on a secret? I’ve been wanting cool, sexy black booties for years. I have NEVER found them. Until now. Vince Camuto sent these beautiful almost velvet like ankle booties and as soon as I opened the box, I was in love. I’m so excited to finally have something like this in my closet because I think they’re so insanely versatile. Take today’s outfit. Pairing the booties with a fun mini dress (PS doing a size medium in this dress because it is QUITE short) and a leather jacket is a great way to show off some leg. Plus, hot fall days are a real thing in the south and this look makes me on trend for the season without sacrificing sweating my butt off. It’s also one of my go-to tips for transitioning into the new season. But I think I’m anxiously waiting for it to get colder so I can wear these booties with tights and skirts like I did here. They’d also be great with ankle jeans and cozy sweaters.
Plus, how weird is it that I haven’t had a real black bag in forever? I wear this brown tote all the time, occasionally my grey one, and have a plethora of little cross-body bags that I typically wear on a day to day basis. But an everyday big black bag? It’s been a while! Also added this big black leather bag, which also comes with a crossbody strap, to my closet. The great thing about this bag is it can also fit my laptop if I needed it to. I think you’ll be seeing a lot of this pretty purse in the coming months.
