I feel like everyone has their go to swimsuit style that they prefer. I’m usually a classic triangle bikini or the old school Victoria’s Secret underwire style that look almost like a bra. Those were always the ones I gravitated towards. Also anything Maaji does I’m usually obsessed with (they’re also always reversible). But after this swimsuit, I think the little one-piece may be my new go-to. Plus, this black one-piece swimsuit is in my opinion, universally flattering on all body types.
This black one piece lace up one I LOVE. The scoop back is pretty, the lace up detail is a fun touch and the fabric is a little textured giving it some interest. I have to be honest, it’s not super high cut on the sides. Thus, making it less flattering if you ask me (remember this swimsuit? High cut!) I still love it though and think it’s something that will work on many body types. However, the higher the cut, the longer your legs look. So now I’m on the hunt for an update on today’s look and thinking this may be a good one or even this one. There are so many great options out right now and I’ve rounded up a few below. Best Black One Piece Swimsuits
One of the reasons why I also LOVE a one piece swimsuit is because it doubles as a bodysuit. Making your jean shorts, skirts and such complete outfits when you pull them on over your black swimsuit. It’s one of my go to travel tricks. A one piece can come in handy from needing to go from beach to lunch. Or if you’ve simply started to run out of clothing, it works in a pinch!
