If you’ve seen me at all on my stories (pre-shingles that is) I’ve been living in this bomber jacket. I got this piece from my favorite store, Madwelll, #duh. I actually do have a green bomber jacket that I picked up a couple years ago that you’ve seen here. It’s definitely more of a fall piece with the hunter green color. So when I saw this more pastel olive green and the fun zipper details, I knew it had to be added to my closet. It’s the perfect bomber jacket for spring if you ask me. Sometimes it can be hard to justify adding such a similar item to my teeny tiny closet, but boy am I glad I did!
I’ve been wearing it as a really perfect light layer this spring. It’s definitely warm enough for these cool evenings. Pairing it with all white has me ready for full on summer though. I’ve also been wearing it with just denim jeans, chucks and a white tee, but think this will be great too with denim shorts too. Who knew a bomber would be my new go to jacket for spring. Usually I gravitate mostly to my utility jacket (this one) but I think this bomber is giving the others a run for their money!
PS I know I talked about my favorite Madewell jeans in this post all about denim. Update, these white ones are NOT like the rest of them. I’m actually a little sad about them to be honest. White denim isn’t easy to find, and I was so hoping that these would be fantastic. After wearing for one day they stretched so much and just aren’t the same as their regular denim. For great white denim, I am loving my James Jeans ones still. They hold up well and are flattering (you’ve seen them here and here!).
