Friends, it’s finally cool enough to bring out the coats! Yay!
One of my all time favorite coats in my closet is this blush beauty from Madewell. It’s been around for years in my closet. I totally forgot about it until I went to the dry cleaners the other day and realized I had a pickup waiting there since… February. Yup. I remember dropping off a few things after my last winter trip to NYC and never needed a coat after that. The one perk of winters in Georgia I guess. This coat was in there and it was like I bought it brand new. I got all excited about it all over again.
Pairing this blush coat with burgundy is one of my favorite fall color combinations.
These shoes and bag are a closet staple for me for fall too. So finding the perfect burgundy sweater (from Madewell, duh) allowed for a perfect burgundy and blush outfit combo. A few other ideas on how to pair blush with the rest of your closet is to just pair it with more pastels like I did here. So long as you’re wearing fall and winter fabrics, this totally works! I also love blush paired with navy. This coat would work perfectly with a pretty navy sweater, or any neutral. It’s also easy enough to style with an all black look like this. The options are endless!
