As someone who not only lives in a dry winter climate in New York, but also is a chronic sinusitis sufferer, a humidifier is an absolute necessity in my life. Humidifers are essential and have a ton of great hleath benefits. From helping to keep your skin hydrated through dry weather, or keeping you feeling your best with better sleep, less snoring and healthier sinuses.
Not all humidifiers are the same though. I have tried several over the years and always end up getting frustrated and throwing them out. Cleaning them with a vinegar solution is not only annoying, but things never really feel truly clean. It made me hate humidifiers and I always avoided bringing them out when I needed them because of the hassle.
But then I discovered Carepod and my views on humidifers totally changed. There’s no filters, it’s easy to clean and there’s no vinegar needed. And it truly is one of the best ways to add moisture to your room quickly.
If you’ve been thinking about adding a humidifier to your home, look no further than Carepod. While their price point is a bit higher than the ones I have purchased in the past, it’s been the most useful, and most loved humidifier I’ve ever owned.
Carepod Humidifier Review
One of the main reasons why I love this humidifier so much is because the stainless steel tank is dishwasher safe. You heard that right, Carepod humidifiers are dishwasher safe. Making it easier than ever to sanitize your humidifiers. If you really want to, you can even place the stainless steel water tank on the stove to boil it. I like soap and water, or the dishwasher for ease. But nothing is more comforting than knowing you can truly sanitize your humidifier by boiling it.
For the non stainless steel parts, you can wash with soap and water to get a good clean. No vinegar needed.
Another reason why I love my Carepod is the powerful cool mist that actually adds humidity to my room. I have a temperature and humidity gauge in my bedroom and all of my old humidifers barely made a dent in the humidity levels. But with the Carepod, within just a few hours, my humidity levels increase so I can sleep and feel better fast.
If dry skin is a concern for you, a humidifier is going to work wonders. Whenever I share the best skincare for cold weather, it always includes a humidifier. Sure, serums help, rich nourishing creams too, but a humidifier really changes the game.

What Are The Best Carepod Humidifiers
Carepod Mini
The Carepod Mini is the smallest option and great for bedrooms or offices. Or if you have a small living space. It hydrates spaces up to 350 square feet and has up to 20 hours of run time. There are also three mist settings to choose and a built-in timer.
Carepod One
The next size up is the Carepod One which has a stainless steel anti mold water tank making it super easy to clean. This size will hydrate indoor air in a space up to 500 square feet. Great for studios, or large rooms. With a 30-litre tank, you’ll get up to 30 hours of consistent cool ultrasonic mist. There are several settings and a built-in timer on the control panel to make it really easy to adjust your settings as needed.
Carepod Cube Plus
The largest option is the Carepod Cube Plus. For spaces up to 700 square feet, this is great for offices or large living spaces. It also runs for up to 32 hours. Just like the other two options, it has 3 mist settings and a built-in timer. In addition to that, there is also a night mode so the lights aren’t distracting. But that’s not all, the Carepod Cube Plus also has a built-in heat sanitization technology allowing for cleaner living. And lastly, it adapts to the humidity levels to allow a more consistent level in your home.
Which Carepod Is Best For Me?
Personally, I would say to go with the Carepod Mini if this is just for your room or living space. I think the Carepod Cube Plus is great if you really need humidity in a very large space, or an office building. And if you’re looking for warm mist versus cool mist, the Cube Plus is the only one that offers both. I personally own the Carepod One, which is great for the stainless steel water tank. However, the mini is truly the perfect size for most homes.
For easier cleaning, I do like the dishwasher safe and boiling ability of the Carepod One. But the simple fact that all can be easily cleaned with just soap and water makes them all a breeze to own. I love that there’s no crazy bells and whistles or complicated cleaning directions. While you should definitely use filtered water or distilled water, I have been using tap water and have not had any issues.
