Just a few of my favorite things in today’s look. As I decided a few weeks back here, burgundy is my color for fall. A french terry and velvet beauty if you ask me. It’s so soft too and who doesn’t love a good peplum hem. I’m sure you’ll be seeing this top again and again as I packed it with me for my Asheville and Greensboro trip this week. I also just got these fun leopard booties that are a great update to your neutral bootie this fall. Booties are great for casual fall outfits that feel put together instantly. And lastly for newness in my closet, a new chunky gold bracelet thanks to 7 Charming Sisters. You all know I love a good chunky gold accessory. Plus, this one is such a pretty update to my jewelry box.
A couple of years ago I put a bucket list of cities together I wanted to visit. It’s grown significantly over the years as I discover new places to visit, but one city that’s always been on there is Asheville. I know that seems a little odd as it’s just a short drive (about 3 hours) from Atlanta and isn’t a huge major city. But I’ve heard such amazing things about it and I thought I’d really love it.
Since my friend Emily is getting married this weekend in Greensboro, I would’ve had to drive right through Asheville anyway. I decided to bring Lauren along for a little roadtrip and visit Asheville. Visiting the breweries and The Biltmore has been on my list as I’ve heard such good things. I’m pretty excited to explore and you can catch what we’ve been up to so far on my Instastories here. Today in Asheville we’ve got a pretty busy day already, so if you have any recommendations for Greensboro, let me know!
