This weekend Cathy of Poor Little It Girl and I headed to Charleston for a little relaxation and to get a little work done like checking out venues for next years Southern Blog Society 3rd annual event. We headed to the Belmond Charleston Place who hosted us for the weekend. We were blown away by not only the beauty of this hotel (I mean it was Charleston charm through and through) but the genuine customer service and amazing amenities to boot. Right off King Street, this hotel was in the perfect location to stroll up and down the shopping district, surrounded by loads of amazing restaurants (we fell in love with Amen Street and Pearlz) and experienced my first oyster shooter. The verdict on that is still out, wasn’t sure about the whole thing, but I never hate oysters, bloody mary mix or tequila.
This printed trapeze Asos dress was the perfect get up for our first day exploring the city. Comfortable shoes and an easy cross body was all I needed to shop, eat and drink our way through Charleston. And thankfully we had the MOST comfortable beds to come back to for a good nights sleep to start it all over again in the morning.
