My mornings are usually pretty routine. Walk the dog, watch the Today show, get the day started for the blog with some tweets and pins, and then breakfast. My usual breakfast are a couple of fried eggs or sometimes Irish oatmeal. I usually make my one cup of coffee in my Keurig (I mean what did we do before these things?? It’s a single woman’s dream!) and enjoy before I really start my day at my desk. But when Starbucks asked me to try out their new flavored K-Cup® Packs I knew I had to up the ante and make a truly delicious, perfect for Fall, kind of breakfast to pair with my Starbucks® Vanilla K-Cup® Packs.
The Tastiest Chocolate Chip Scone Recipe
These chocolate chip scones were the perfect baked good to whip up to enjoy with my new favorite flavor, vanilla. I also loved the Starbucks® Caramel K-Cup® Packs, but felt they were a little too rich for the also sweet scones. So vanilla it was. And I’m still on the hunt for the mocha ones if you’ve seen them!
This recipe is easy and delicious, obviously, duh. You’ll be able to take the base of this and fold in whatever your heart desires. Or whatever you think will pair best with your morning coffee routine. Blueberry and lemon are great, orange and cranberry, let your mind run wild here. These bake up in minutes and you can make them big or small, chock full of chips or not. There’s really no rules to this, and that’s how I like it. So for the next few days, you know I’ll be enjoying my morning routine with a yummy scone and decadent Starbucks® Vanilla K-Cup® Packs on the couch with Pork….and the crew of the Today show.
