My office space is small and completely exposed to the rest of my home. This leaves me no opportunity to expand the world’s tiniest closet that is in my bedroom. One thing I’ve always wanted to do in my office was to create a beautiful space to hang clothing that needs to be shot for the blog or help to lay out outfits before I pack for a trip. These all would be great things to have, right? But the fact that my house is so open, my office would feel like a complete disaster if I added anything else to it.
While researching some clothing rack ideas to help organize my life, I stumbled onto these fun finds at Urban Outfitters. However, the only thing I’ve managed to hang in my home to help clear up some closet space are my hats, which I love! How I wish I could add a clothing rack though.
Unique Clothing Rack Ideas For The Home
For today, I’m going to vicariously live through those of you who can conquer this look. Here are a few unique clothing rack ideas that will make your space feel like a well-curated boutique and keep your things nice and neat in one place. Utilize these at your entryway to hang jackets and shoes, or in your bedroom in a blank corner to curate a collection of looks. These feel less like a boring metal clothing rack, and more like an intentional moment in your home.
Simple Metal Clothing Racks
Go totally classic but slightly updated with one of these simple metal clothing racks. They’re a step above the industrial metal rolling racks and look so much more intentional. So many fun options from different widths and colors.
Coat Racks And Dressing Stations
No matter if you’re looking for a coat rack to spruce up your entryway, or something more elaborate like a dressing station, there are tons of options. I love this dressing station that has a built in mirror. This would be great for a studio apartment that’s lacking closets. Or an industrial loft that needs more hanging space. The mirror makes it feel like a real piece of furniture. And if you just need a little space in your entryway, coat racks have come a long way and there are plenty of interesting ones that can hold your shoes, jackets and umbrellas as a great catchall when you get home.
