Can we all just raise a glass and cheers to warmer weather and bare legs? Now to work on this tan. I don’t think I’ve ever seen myself so pale before. Thank god for bold colors to distract you today. There’s no better combo than cobalt and orange if you ask me!
Cobalt And Orange Outfit
Combining bright colors doesn’t have to be hard. I love mixing bold hues for a fun
But clearly, this cobalt and orange outfit is a current favorite! This dress has been on heavy rotation it’s
I love mixing blue and orange together. You can do just a little bit or a lot of each color. And adding the beige trench helps to balance out these brighter colors. A bit of gold jewelry to tie it all together and you’ve got the perfect colorblock look.
How To Colorblock With Confidence
If color blocking feels overwhelming to you, one of my go-to tricks is to simply look at a color wheel. Usually, any color opposite of the one you want to wear will work. This trick almost always works and you can feel more confident about choosing bright colors to mix and match with.
And if you’re looking at the colorwheel, you can usually go a bit to either side of the opposite color. Or choose a shade within it. Instead of bright orange, you can definitely do something more soft and pale. And you can even go to either side of the orange and try yellow or a soft red.
You can see I am also wearing a turquoise bag with this look. It’s still within the blue family of the color wheel and helps to create more interest.
Use this trick anytime you want to mix and match!
