If you haven’t heard of Credo Beauty yet, let me introduce you to this incredible beauty destination. And if clean beauty is something you care deeply about, you can shop with confidence here. From the packaging being sustainable, to the ingedient list and to even how we deal with our beauty empties.
While I’m not someone who subscribes to the clean beauty trend, I am someone who likes good products, that work, look great on my skin, and feel good. However, I do subscribe to taking care of our planet and love that Credo Beauty requires sustainable packaging and even offers recycling options thanks to their partnership with PACT.
Credo Beauty Review
The Products
Instead of shopping at beauty stores and wondering if the products are clean-approved, or have ingredients you’re trying to avoid, Credo requires it. You can shop confidently knowing that they have a strict vetting process for products.
You can learn more about Credo Beauty’s clean standards from ingredients, transparency, labeling and more here.
The Packaging
Did you know that the beauty industry generates an estimated 120 billion cosmetic packages annually? This becomes a huge challenge in dealing with trash in our landfills and oceans. Plus, most packaging is made with virgin plastic
Not only does Credo require their vendors to utilize their sustainable packaging guidelines to help eliminate the use of single-use items and reduce virgin plastic. But they also offer best practices to their brands for more sustainable package design and end-of-life management. Reducing waste is a key value at Credo.
And lastly, Credo works with Pact which is designed to provide a solution for those hard-to-recycle beauty products. Aiming for a more circular lifecycle.
Credo Beauty Stores
If you’ve never shopped at a Credo store, you’re missing out. You can browse their locations here. The stores are curated with their brands in a minimal setting that allows you to explore products from makeup to body and skincare.
When Does Credo Beauty Do Sales?
Typically twice a year Credo has a sitewide sale of 20% off. This sale begins tomorrow October 19th. But today, I have an exclusive early access code for you. Use code INDIGO20 for 20% off your orders.
Free Shipping At Credo
Credo offers free shipping on orders over $50. For returns, they do charge a $5 return fee. You can also return in store if you have one near you for free.
My Favorite Brands & Products At Credo Beauty
Makeup Favorites
Ilia
The skin tint is one of the best sellers at Ilia. I have yet to try the new True Skin Serum Foundation which is supposed to be good.
Westman Atelier
This is a newer makeup line that I’ve been using and I am loving it. I have the Vital Skin Foundation Stick and absolutely love it. It gives good coverage without feeling too heavy.
Kosas
One of my favorites from this brand is the Kosas Air Brow Tinted Volumizing Gel. I love it so much I wrote a whole review on it here. I have also heard really good things about their foundation and concealer. And I think I’m going to be trying this eye palette that I saw a favorite TikTok makeup artist share recently.
Skincare
Follain
Follain is a really wonderful and affordable skincare line to try. I use their Vitamin C serum almost every single day. And also use their everyday moisturizer (it doesn’t have SPF in it) at night or in the late afternoons if I’m doing my skincare early in the evening.
Mara
I had the pleasure of meeting the founder of Mara years before it finally hit the shelves. She was so passionate about the product, the ingredients, and let me tell you, her skin was perfect. It’s now grown to a multi product line.
Osea
Another favorite skincare line of mine. I really love their red algae mask to clear out those clogged pores. It’s a great weekly mask to do.
Bath & Body
Osea
While I love their face mask, they also make a fantastic body lotion. And if you’re really dry, you may want to try the body oil.
Necessaire
A total luxury and worth every penny. I just love the Necessaire body serum and the body lotion. But it’s the eucalyptus shower gel that I can’t get enough of. The scent makes you feel like you’re in a spa and it is just a fabulous product to have in the shower.
This brand also rarely goes on sale, so when it does, I usually stock up. It happens at the Credo Sale, Sephora Sale and sometimes at Amazon Prime Day.
