I can’t believe I’m about to say this, but I went into Zara. And found something.
I know. Shocked. This is not a store I shop at ever. For a few reasons. For one, the store is beyond chaotic. So is the website. I can’t with their models and styling, total mess. And I’ve always struggled with their sizing. It’s all over the place and I’m not a big fan of that. Makes shopping not as enjoyable or easy. But for some reason, I decided to pop into the store to just see. And turns out, I found something. And it’s the cutest little crochet mini dress. It’s fun, effortless, flattering and easy to wear. It fulfills my seventies hippie vibes that I am always somehow seeking out.
Crochet Dresses & Tops For Summer
Crochet is a fun trend to jump on for spring and summer. It’s very boho and easy breezy. It’s definitely not something you need a ton of, but having one or two pieces to rotate into your wardrobe is a fun way to try it out. Not only is the crochet a fun texture and print in a sense, there are also tons of fun colors and styles to try. Go big and bold in color, or go more minimal in a neutral like I did with this little mini. I’m more of a neutral person and add lots of neutral accessories (my tips on wearing neutrals here). There are so many cute crochet dresses from little tank dresses, to maxis, cut-out styles and more. Below are some favorites I’m loving.

Crochet Tops For Summer
A crochet top is next on my list as these are so perfect with a pair of denim cut-offs. Wear them now with shorts and platform sandals, and into late summer early fall with denim and a light jacket. I’m loving all the great tank options. These are a nice departure from my cotton tank addiction that I have. So much more interesting and elevated!
Best Shoes To Wear With Crochet Pieces
I think when you wear anything crochet, you can go one or two ways with your footwear. Either go minimal and sleek in a nude sandal that isn’t very flashy. Let the crochet piece kind of do the talking. When I think of a crochet tank with jeans, I would do an easy minima slide or sandal. But on the other hand, I would lean in to the 70s vibe and go with a platform. This works so nicely with little dresses or tops with shorts, it just works. Crochet and platforms just belong together!
