Most of our two and a half days in Paris were spent in sneakers as you’ve seen this week. We did a TON of walking and exploring and high heels were never an option. We ended up going from playing tourist straight to dinner each night and never felt like we got the real local experience.
On our last night we decided to get a little dressed up and head to a nicer restaurant, Ellsworth. I threw on this easy Cooper & Ella dress that allowed for lots of room to eat in. Ellsworth was a cute little spot that reminded me of a tiny NYC type of restaurant with just a handful of tables and a unique tapas menu. We ordered just about everything on the menu since it was quite small and one of the favorites was the fried chicken. We both sort of laughed as we raved about the fried chicken in Paris since we come from the land of the best fried chicken in the country, Atlanta. The meal was beyond delicious and we almost ordered a second round of it it was that good.
After dinner we headed to the Tuileries to catch the Eiffel Tower sparkle. We wanted to see it one last time before heading out the next day for Greece. Well worth the blisters on my heel from the unexpected detour (note to self, these shoes require bandaids!).
