Today I woke up in a new city and I couldn’t be more excited about the upcoming weekend. I got back late Monday night from my Europe travels (you can see some of the fun on Instagram, and some posts are coming soon next week!). I was home for all of 2 full days. It wasn’t enough time as my to do list was long and all I wanted to do was snuggle on the couch with Pork.
Yesterday afternoon I headed out with my friends to Austin and this morning we woke up in our cute AirBNB and are getting ready to hit up day one of Austin City Limits Music Festival. It was a bit of an adventure actually getting here since we missed our flight by all of two minutes then had to fly to Houston. We drove from Houston to Austin (about two and a half hours) and to say we’re tired is an understatement.
In honor of being in the longhorn state today, I thought I’d share some inspiring decor ideas with this bold piece. And don’t judge me if I added an animal skull here that may not be exactly a longhorn….you get the gist of this, k? Plus last week’s Friday Furnishing featured this bar area and I fell in love! I personally have a deer head (with silver antlers, it isn’t real obviously) in my home but I think the longhorn is a little more sophisticated. Cue the want to change this up immediately!
