I went with the Hot Cocoa Swirl collection to then tie in the comfort of a warm cup of hot cocoa, enjoying it curled up on the couch. For me, I’m going with a hot cocoa-themed self-care gift basket using the new exclusive Dove products. Here’s how I build my themed gift baskets.
How To Build The Perfect Cocoa-Themed Self-Care Gift Basket
Step One – Choose A Great Basket
Make sure your basket is large enough to hold everything you plan on filling it with. I like one that’s more shallow so you can see all the goodies. Try a woven bag, metal or wicker.
Step Two – Add A Cozy Base
Whether you go with tissue paper, or maybe even nice towels to really lean into the self care angle, a base is important. You can also use simple paper filler too.
Step Three – Arrange the Dove Hot Cocoa Swirl Products
Add your Dove Hot Cocoa Swirl self-care products. Keep the taller items like the body wash in the back, and shorter ones in the front. You may need to prop things up so you can better arrange and see them.
Step Four – Add Cocoa Themed Goodies
For this cocoa-inspired basket, you can add a variety of essentials. From a cute holiday mug, to festive marshmallows, candy cane pieces and of course, hot cocoa powder! I loved these little jars that were also available at Target.
Step Five – Finish With Festive Touches
Add a little something festive to the basket from ribbon, a gift tag, maybe some candy canes or a sprig of fresh greenery is always nice too. I had some cute pinecones with red berries in my bin of holiday wrapping goodies and it was perfect to add to the basket. You can also wrap this up in cellophane and a big bow or curling ribbon to tie it all together.
