Right when I decided I was heading to Paris, I knew it would be a lot cooler than Atlanta. I also knew I wanted to look as put together as possible without being too dressed up. Cue Maison Jules. It’s a brand that just gets the effortless Parisian chic look from their cute little dresses (loving this one) and their striped sweaters and great outerwear. This olive green trench came in handy as we had one day of a little rain and chilly weather during the daytime and this was a must. It kept me warm but also made me feel like I fit in amongst all the stylish Parisian folks.
I wore this look to get breakfast at Claus which is ironically not a French spot, but it was hands down one of the best brunches I’ve ever had (see how Instagrammable it is here). Order the Bavarian pancake and share with whoever you’re dining with. It’s totally worth the calories. We then walked around the Tuileries which were a picture perfect scene of fall with the leaves beginning to change and blanket the ground. Also, if you’re visiting Paris, I highly recommended going to Bir Hakeim to get this view of the Eiffel Tower. It was nice to see it from a different perspective than the usual. It was also a lot less busy (still busy, but not chaotic which was nice).
I’ll be wearing this little striped elbow patch sweater a lot this fall and winter. I have such a hard time finding great sweaters that I love that don’t feel too bulky on me. This one fits the bill and kept me super warm. You can shop more of my favorite Maison Jules pieces below!
