Day one of TBScon was a little stressful in terms of figuring out WTF to wear. I had Day Two all planned out (coming to you on Thursday!) and had a few ideas for Day Three, but the welcome party hosted by Vera Bradley was a mystery. I hated every dress in my closet, mostly because they weren’t dressy enough, or too dressy. So I attempted Rent The Runway and ordered this sherbet colored Elizabeth and James dress. I put it on and it fit perfectly. Adding these burgundy heels were the perfect compliment to the dress.
Before heading down to the party, Cathy and I were SO fortunate to work with Mary Kay this year to make sure our faces were perfection. Maggie from Elysium Salon (who did our hair and makeup last year also) came over with the biggest Mary Kay makeup kit I’ve ever seen. We went with a berry lip to compliment the shoes and a slightly golden eye. I wish she can come to my house every day to make me up!
