There are some things that I just think every person should own. Whether it’s the perfect jeans, a great blazer, or the perfect blush brush. Some things are just required in my book. Sometimes they make life easier, sometimes they’re just a necessity and I can’t imagine living life without them. Today I wanted to share all of the beauty tools that I think everyone should own. From a great razor, tweezer, to the perfect brush for your makeup application.
The Essential Beauty Tools You Should Own
Tweezers
For taming those eyebrows, or plucking that random hair on your chin that just won’t quit; great pair of tweezers are a must-have. I own several, but these slant Tweezerman ones are hands down the best ones in my book. They grab the hair well and also don’t require the hair to be that long either.

Manicure Essentials
You all know I LOVE to do my own nails so I always have these items on hand. Regardless of if you paint your own nails or not, it’s a good idea to always have nail clippers and a nail file for emergencies. I love these block ones. Each side has a different grade of grit.
Makeup Brushes
Everyone’s makeup brush essentials may be a little different. But generally speaking, you’ll want a good foundation brush (or beauty sponge), blush and contour brush, a setting powder brush and then any type of eyeshadow brushes you may like. You can check out this big post on my favorite brushes. Personally, my favorite brushes are from IT Cosmetics, this is a great starter set.

Hair Removal Products
All a preference, but let me tell you what. I use my epilator more than I ever thought I would. It’s really not that painful and does the job. Another hair removal product I always have on hand are these Flamingo wax strips. Great for your upper lip!
Makeup Cleaner + Mat
Cleaning your makeup brushes and sponges is an important habit we should all be getting more into. I like to use this makeup cleaning mat and Dawn dish soap. It’s not only gentle but it also gets the oily product out super well. No need to spend a ton of money on fancy makeup brush cleansers.

A Good Blowdryer
A blowdryer is one of those things that I just can’t imagine living without. For someone who has thick wavy hair, I HAVE to blowdry my hair after I shower. And soon after. None of this airdry shit is ever happening in my life.
Razor
The holy grail razor that I’ve been using for years is my Schick Quattro razor. I’ve used it for years and think it’s just the greatest. And fun fact, I use baby oil to shave and not shaving cream. I just feel like it does double duty in hydrating my skin and being a good way to shave.

Wide Tooth Comb
After you shower, and you go to brush your hair, you should only be using a wide-tooth comb. They help to detangle, and stimulate your roots and are gentler on your delicate and wet strands that a bristle brush.
