WAYF Floral Mini Dress (on sale) c/o • OAK Leather Jacket• Steve Madden Naomi Cutout Bootie c/o
I feel like I’m still catching up from the weekend you guys. It was one of those, you feel me? Like needed to sleep 12 hours on Sunday night kinda weekend.
I ended up starting the weekend a little early on Friday. After hosting the Bloggers & Bellini panel at AmericasMart with The Blog Societies I headed to my sister and new brother in law’s (so crazy to say that!) new house. Parents came up too to hang out which is always Pork’s favorite. Because she loves them more than me.
Saturday my friends and I headed to a fun Chandon event at Ponce City Market. There’s no way to have a bad afternoon with champagne in hand right? On Sunday, I laid low a bit recovering from said champagne. Now it’s time for the Monday grind. I have a short week this week as I head to Denver later this week to visit a friend. I’m so excited to see a new city and catch up with my friends. Trying to figure out what to pack is basically impossible. The temperatures range from 37 to 71 and a chance of rain too. Should be interesting.
Now onto today’s look. I wore this little fall floral dress and bootie combo to dinner Thursday night with the AmericasMart girls at 5Church. The weather in Atlanta has been hot as can be so a mini dress for mid October is totally acceptable. I’ve also decided that this silhouette may be my favorite. It’s so flattering and can easily be worn with flats or booties without feeling too skimpy. And just add black tights for when it gets a little cooler.
Also, if you’re looking for a go to black bootie for fall, this Steve Madden pair are it. They’re under $100 and insanely comfortable. I love the cut out detail. They’re similar to these I got last year which I loved but a little higher of a heel. So getting them in black was a no brainer.
