Fall is around the corner and it’s all I’m thinking about when it comes to fashion. I’m ready to hang up the sandals and sundresses and trade them in for houndstooth blazers, knitwear and all the fall footwear.

Bergdorf’s new arrivals are not to be missed and I’m sharing my favorite picks. All are mostly under $500 and are beautiful pieces to invest in for the season.

Jeans & Bottoms
Fall denim is all about a straight leg and wide leg fit. I love these super wide leg jeans and this black wash from AGOLDE is a great staple to have on hand. One trend we’re seeing a lot of is the big cuffed jeans. Loving these from Citizens of Humanity. But no, we are not cuffing our skinny jeans, just our big wide leg jeans and this fresh take on a cuffed hem.
Try cargo pants for something on trend that really are very easy to style. And of course, the denim maxi skirt is the ‘it’ piece for fall. For me, I can’t complete a fall capsule wardrobe without a wool a-line mini skirt. Love this houndstooth one and the matching blazer.
Jackets & Third Pieces
Jackets and third pieces help to complete your looks. Plus, coats are a great option to head into fall’s cooler temperatures. This faux leather jacket from A.L.C. is a stunner with jeans or even over a silk midi dress for fall.
Sweaters & Tops
There are two major trends we are seeing in fall fashion. The first is anything in bright red. This pullover collared sweater is perfect to get in on the trend.
Fall Accessories
To complete your fall looks, you can’t forget about accessories. From shoes to bags, and even belts, these all help to make your outfit feel more put-together and ready for the season.
For shoes, try a mary jane from CAREL, a ballet flat and a loafer for a pretty shoe to wear to the office, or out to lunch or dinner. As for boots, I love a sock bootie to pair with all your straight leg jeans.
And of course, a Chelsea boot to pair with jeans, leggings and dresses are going to be super versatile. The tan Vejas are a nice change of pace from all the white sneakers we are seeing everywhere. It’s a great contrast too with denim!
Now onto fall bags. Your purse choice can totally transform a look which is one of the reasons why I love to invest in some fun seasonal ones to have on hand.
