Just like I switch my iced coffee order to a hot coffee, I also have to change my nail polish choices. In the summertime, I’m all about a cherry red or orange red (essie Geranium was my summer go to this year). I’m also ALL about a good white manicure and even bold blue nails. But as soon as the weather starts to change, so does my nail polish color.
The moment the mornings turn a smidge cool with a light crispness in the air, I change my cherry red polish to a fall hue like a rich red wine, black and even olive greens. It’s a favorite way to lean into the colors for fall and winter.

The go to color of choice for me in the fall is usually a great bordeaux. This one from essie is actually called Bordeaux. So it’s perfect. But I also love the Zoya in Brynlee, it’s the prettiest burgundy.
