We didn’t have much on our DC itinerary when I visited a few weeks ago, but the one thing we had for sure planned on doing once Christina of Oh So Glam arrived on Sunday was hitting up Fig & Olive for brunch. I’ve never been, and Cathy has just raved about the place so I was excited to try it out. We popped in around oh noonish, and sat down in their big comfy chairs and sofas and started the bottomless mimosa train. We ordered just about everything on the menu. All the crostinis (the shrimp and the prosciutto one were my two favorites) octopus carpaccio, zucchini carpaccio and more. Before we knew it, the DJ left, our server who was amazing, closed us out, left and came back for dinner service at 6pm. Which means we had sat at Fig and Olive for 6 hours you guys. 6! It’s rare that we’re all in the same city and I guess we just couldn’t stop talking! I’ve seriously never had so much fun at a brunch before and wish we could do that every weekend.
Before we headed in I had Cathy snap a few pics of my outfit. It’s safe to say that I’m a Cooper & Ella fan. You may remember this off the shoulder dress from last week, and this watermelon one from my Instagram. This little white top was comfy and perfect for dressing up a pair of jeans.
Be sure to check back this afternoon for my DC travel diary with even more great spots to eat at, visit and more!
