Oh how I wish I could go back to this day and this outfit right now. Currently, I’m in NYC for the week and am just getting pounded by snow and freezing temperatures. I would do just about anything to go back to the island life. Island life outfits are way more fun than NYC winter outfits, period. Today’s floral shorts are 100% proof of that.
These floral shorts are going to be on serious repeat throughout spring and summer. I wore them not once but twice while in Hawaii. First with this white shirt and matching sandals which are clearly my favorite at the moment. Then another night to visit my friends in Makawao for dinner with a chambray shirt and my lace up sandals. They’re super duper comfortable (they have an elastic waistband). I think these will be perfect with just a white tee and denim jacket for spring too. So versatile, which is something I love! Rarely do I rewear pieces when I travel besides basics like jeans or a jacket. But these shorts surprisingly got quite a bit of use. They’re even great as a beach cover up with a linen button down.
