I know I just changed my whole house up less than two years ago, but I’m already over my bedroom. After renovating the bathroom and then overhauling the living room, the bedroom now doesn’t match anything. Luckily my furniture is neutral. Which is actually my number one decorating tip, always invest in great neutral furniture! All I really have to do is paint and switch up bedding. I wish I could be one of those people that has all white bedding, but a little fun fact, my dog is disgusting. She drools, she has little black eyelash like hairs that shed everywhere. Sadly white sheets are never going to happen. If it did, this would be the easiest switch; paint, done.
Inspiration For Dark Walls In The Bedroom
So while perusing Pinterest on any normal Friday night, I noticed I kept pinning dark, navy, even black, walls for the bedroom. The more I looked the more I loved it. The idea of white and grey walls to offset the darker more masculine color paired with more brass accents (which is becoming my favorite thing ever) will round the space out nicely. So I’ll be teaming up with Homepolish to overhaul the bedroom and can’t wait to share how we transform it. But I think it’s safe to say that I’ll be painting over that coral wall with a deep dark hue in the coming weeks.
