I think one of the things I miss most about my old college apartment is the patio. It had the best sunlight where you could sit outside on the chair and watch the sunset. It really was the greatest little patio I’ve ever had. While condo shopping many years ago for my now home, not having a patio was a deal breaker. I found the perfect condo, with the cutest little patio but I failed to find one that got great sun. Oh, and my upstairs neighbors smoke a cigarette every hour on the hour and my patio is covered in ashes.
So I really never get to enjoy this outdoor space which is beyond disappointing. In the meantime, until either the neighbor croaks from all those cigs, or I move, I’ll have to daydream about what my patio could’ve been and I’m loving these outdoor sanctuaries.
