All about that plaid for fall right now. I saw this Gal Meets Glam dress in her last collection (the new one just launched today, shop it here!) and had to have it. It’s such a pretty hunter green which has been a favorite color of mine for the season. The silky fabric and twirl-ability made this the perfect fall dress. Style it with booties, knee high boots or nude heels for a few ways to wear it. You’ve seen me wear this navy beauty over the summer and I have to say, it’s the PERFECT dress for weddings. The Gal Meets Glam Collection is definitely more dressy than my usual looks. I sort of wish she’d come up with more casual pieces but for dressier occasions, this is definitely a go-to brand to shop.
“Every Woman Should Own A Shirtdress” – Michael Kors
A shirtdress is also such a great closet staple to have. I used to wear these CONSTANTLY in my old 9-5 job. They were easy to throw on and go. Plus easy enough to dress up or down. They’re sophisticated and make you feel good. This plaid Gal Meets Glam Collection Jessie dress can easily go from the office with nude pumps to lunch with friends on the weekend. Just add suede booties and a denim jacket for a classic fall look. For even a more wintery look, add a cozy tan coat and scarf for another easy way to style this dress. The options are kind of endless. I personally defaulted to my usual tan Steve Madden Carrson sandals and leopard. A combination I love. However, I’ll be honest, I wear the heck out of these shoes. They’re truly my only nude heel (shocking I know) so I’m officially on the hunt for a great nude heel or pump to add to my fall and winter wardrobe. I’m thinking these may be a great addition to my closet and would actually go beautifully with this dress too!
