A couple summers ago I added several great gingham pieces to my closet. You may remember this pretty sheer blouse or this peplum top. They were closet favorites and I have to be honest, totally haven’t given them the love they need. I did wear this one out to dinner last weekend for dinner with Mireille of City Peach and her husband. Funny story, I went to college with him and were pretty good friends. We hadn’t spoken in years, and it was nice to reconnect through finding a new blog friend! Small world right?
Anyway, back to gingham. Since bell sleeves are so hot right now, and I had completely forgotten about my old gingham favorites, this top found its way into my closet. It’s so fun and bold; how could you not love it? Paired simply with white jeans and heels, it’s the perfect spring date night look. I am glad though that I rediscovered my pretty DVF gingham pieces, they’ll be making their way back on the blog soon I’m sure!
