It’s actually now officially WAY too hot for pants, but back when I shot this super casual look, it was the perfect amount of warm and breezy in Atlanta. It was great for this ripped up tee, which I love, and my brand new first ever, gladiator sandals.
A few months ago I popped into Nordstrom to pick up some new neutral sandals. These had officially seen better days so I decided it was time to grab some new ones. I ended up with these Steve Madden ones and have been wearing them time and time again like with little white dresses and denim skirts (they’re also insanely comfortable by the way!). While shopping, I asked the salesperson to bring out a few of her favorites for me. She brought out a few of her personal favorites, popular items and such, and I tried them all on. I ended up putting these olive gladiator sandals on thinking, oh I won’t like these, and then boom, I was sold. Well really, they were sold, to me. I’m really not a big gladiator sandal fan at all, but something about the braided details, the not your average shoe color choice and price tag had me convinced otherwise. I’ve been wearing them mostly with jeans, but I think a LWD may be next. It’s a nice change of pace from all my brown and black sandals for summer which can get a little uninteresting at times. I’m sure you’ll be seeing me wearing these gladiator sandals for summer time and time again.
