Green Faux Fur Outfit & Winter Look

There are always those pieces in your closet that kind of end up surprising you with how much use you get out of them. I bought this coat thinking it would be something I rarely wore. I mean, it is a ridiculous green faux fur coat! But it was such a good price and fun that I thought, why not? Sometimes those things are fun to buy and when you really love it, I think it’s totally fine! But this coat has ended up being one of my most favorite things to wear lately. I’m just as surprised as you are that a green faux fur pimp style kind of coat, has become my go-to. I want to wear it ALL THE TIME. It’s so cozy and soft. Plus, this hunter green color is giving my usual favorite color, navy, a run for its money. It’s also making me love lilac that much more. You all know this color has been a recent love of mine ever since the summer. Combining it with hunter green is such a fun combination that I’m obsessing over. Add a little leopard and you’ve got a fun and easy look for the weekend!

Finding fun color combinations that feel fresh and new helps to keep your closet feeling fresh. Green and lilac is a perfect example and it’s so easy to pull these pieces together. Sure you can go class in black and camel, but sometimes I like to lean into more earthy tones and this satisfies that craving! Another favorite color combination that I don’t see much of but am loving, is this baby blue and warm brown. I love how they contrast!
