These days bar carts are becoming a standard part of everyones home. Whether you buy a real deal cart (which I just didn’t have the space for) or creating a make shift version on top of a buffet like I did, everyone should take note on this trend. It’s a fun way to incorporate your favorite fun glasses, straws and more and display some of those prettier bottles you may have. Create a truly functional space by adding a shaker, straws and coasters. This is the perfect way to style a bar cart, functional yet fun.
With my house being so small and also having limited wall space, my small buffet is key for storing entertaining essentials, alcohol and all of Pork’s leashes, collars, jackets etc. Adding a thrifted silver tray, a fun print, glass tumblers and a few key bar accessories, this space has become one of my absolute favorites in my home.
For styling the foyer, I kept things very simple. I found this great (and affordable) burst mirror from Home Depot. On my foyer table I just keep the essentials. A tray for my keys, and a little trinket box for lipstick before I head out the door. I also put a few of my favorite coffee table books on the opposite side with a small white tchotchke to add some balance. This allows the space to stay clutter-free and everything has a place to go.
