Why yes that’s a minty blue wall you see there. It still needs some window treatments, but this room was one of the boldest decisions I’ve made in my decor makeover. I wanted
A Coral And Mint Living Room Tour
The coral and mint living room idea was fun to browse for and get inspired by. I found a ton of great inspiration on Pinterest that helped make this a super easy space to decorate. But back to the pillows.
I learned a few key things while working with my decorator, the biggest one being, custom pillows. They can be expensive, yes, but Etsy is a great resource to find inexpensive ones. They instantly updated my couch and helped to tie everything together. I’ll never go shopping again for a pillow for more than a day, I’ll just go straight to Etsy. Totally worth it.
TIP: Always go with a neutral couch!
Another important decorating tip I learned was having a neutral couch is super helpful. I was so glad I didn’t have to change my couch up when I decided to transform the color scheme of the house. It’s really important to invest in a great neutral couch as it can be expensive and will likely stay with you for many years. This piece will easily transition into new decor trends or new spaces as I grow with it so it’s nice to know that it won’t become an expensive issue in the future.
A few other fun updates to the living room was adding my wakeboard to the wall. It’s a hobby I used to be very active in while in college. It was collecting dust sitting in a closet, so this was a fun way to display it, creating a conversation piece, and also opening up some closet space!
