If you’re heading to New York City and are looking for a great hotel to stay at, let me introduce you to Hotel Indigo Williamsburg. Hotel Indigo is a hotel collection I have always loved to stay at. They are trendy and cool, while also elevated and reliable. I’ve stayed at several properties across the United States. But they have properties all over the world.
When you stay at a Hotel Indigo you can expect a very cool and trendy hotel, with top notch amenities and a variety of room options to choose from. If you’re visiting New York City, and want to try staying in Brooklyn, you may want to explore Hotel Indigo Williamsburg. Here’s what I loved about this property.

Hotel Indigo Williamsburg Review
Location And Accessibility
Visiting NYC is all about being near where you want to spend most of your time. And many people may think to stay in Manhattan. While I think that’s a great option, and I would suggest Hotel Indigo Lower East Side, Williamsburg is a great alternative. And allows you to see a whole new part of the city while also being just 2 quick stops to Manhattan via the L Train.

The Hotel Indigo Williamsburg-Brooklyn is located off of Metropolitan Avenue in Williamsburg. It’s about a 20 minute walk to Domino Park where you can take in stunning views over the East River to Manhattan.
But this area of Williamsburg where the hotel is located is close to great restaurants, shopping and easily accessible to Manhattan via the train. Brooklyn is massive which is something I learned quickly when I stayed here. But Williamsburg is really an ideal neighborhood to stay in for proximity to Manhattan.
This hotel also has many accessible features you can count on if needed.

Accommodations & Room Options
The rooms at Hotel Indigo Williamsburg – Brooklyn are beautifully laid out and feel super spacious for a NYC hotel. I stayed in the 1 king bed 1 bedroom suite which was so large and stunning. But the rooms all feel very similar to this just in varying sizes.
The bathrooms were also beautiful with the stunnig tile and marble. I loved the black hardware and great bath products that were available. There are also rooms with balconies as well as standard rooms both king and queen bed options. Another great option for groups are the two double bed options to accomodate up to 4 people.
There are also king and queen premium rooms available along with suites. There are many options depending on availability and something for nearly every budget.

Amenities & Services
When you check in to one of the many room options available at Hotel Indigo Williamsburg, you unlock some great amenities and services. Start by taking out one of their complimentary bikes to explore the neighborhood in. And get in your morning workout at the spacious fitness center.
Visit during the warmer months and get access to their pool with a view of Manhattan. A great way to spend a hot and humid day in the city to cool off.

Dining Experience & Local Restaurants
Lobby Bar & Lounge
Head to the lobby’s expansive bar and lounge for breakfast 7 days a week. From bagels, to french toast, and even a vegan wrap and smoothies, there’s something for everyone on the breakfast menu.
Or grab a coffee or pastry throughout the day for a little caffeine pick me up.
They also have an all day menu with salads, burgers and sandwiches like their salmon B.L.T. sandwich. Enjoy a glass of champagne to kick off a night out, or try a night cap before heading to bed.

ALIYA
Head to the 4th floor to enjoy a Caribbean and Asian influenced menu from Atlanta Chef Scotley Innis. Enjoy inventive cocktails and delicious bites while taking in the views. They are open daily Tuesday through Sunday from 5pm to 12am.

Getting Into Manhattan
Getting into Manhattan from Hotel Indigo Williamsburg is extremely easy and fast. The Metropolitan Ave/Lorimer Street subway station is right on the corner, not even a full block away from the hotel. The L train is just two stops to get into Manhattan.
The first stop into the city that will get you to other trains will be another 2 stops to Union Square. At Union Square station, you can get the N-Q-R and 4-5-6. Head to the 6th Ave station to take the 1-2-3-F-M. And head to the 8th Ave station to take the A-C-E.
You can also take an Uber or taxi to get into the city, but my preference anytime I’m in NYC is to take the subway as much as possible. It’s easy and affordable and usually gets you moving through the city much faster than a car.

Things To Do Near The Hotel Indigo Williamsburg

Walk about 20 minutes to Domino Park on the water to take in the beautiful views of Manhattan. This park is always full of people enjoying the green space, getting their morning run in or just walking through with a coffee in hand.
Make an afternoon of it and grab a sandwich at Mission and enjoy a picnic at the park. Finish with a gelato from Gelateria Gentile.
