So I’m not technically a Cubs fan, but after watching them win the National League while in Chicago, I feel a little invested. Plus, did you watch last nights game? Even more exciting!
We basically had what was the best Saturday ever in Chicago. It started out with a boozy brunch (sadly the service sucked, but food was good) and then headed to Emporium which is an old school arcade spot. We played old school Mario Brothers and Pacman and then headed to a bar to watch some football. Later we went to Cleo’s in Wicker Park to watch the game. It was so exciting to watch amongst fellow Chicago Cubs fans and once they won, it was insane. To say there weren’t tears in my eyes would be a complete lie.
I wore this super duper casual outfit for that super duper fun Saturday. I figured I’d rep the Cubs the best way I could with a little bit of blue. It’s all I had but I think it worked. I wore this jacket a lot while there, but it was definitely necessary with the layers. It was super chilly, but luckily Saturday was actually a pretty warm day for Chicago in the fall. It was absolutely gorgeous out. I’m learning layers are king for fall and this Madewell plaid shirt was perfect for layering and adding a little color.
